its pretty simple. its mounted on the drivers side of the throttle body(rear top side) the switch in the front is the throttle position sensor, the one behind it is the idle control valve.
The valve is at the front of the engine just behind the A/C Compressor. Its just above the thermostat. Be careful as for some unknown reason GM has designed this valve without polarity. It can be installed upside down which will yield less than impressive results. Where is the EGR valve located on a 1995 Chevrolet Blazer with a vortec engine?
The heater control valve (temp blend door) is located behind the dash assembly. The dash assembly has to come out to gain access to it.
From what I been reading there is no egr on this engine.
The egr valve on the 1999 vortec v6 is bolted to the intake valve. It is just behind the distributor.

On top of the air filter is a diagram that shows you where the PCV valve is located.
Idle Air Control Valve
on the left side of the air intake/throttle body. there are two screw that hold it in. I t sits right behind the fuel control valve.
Assuming it's the 4.3L vortec, it's in the front below and to the left of the throttle. It's buried down in there so hard to see and even harder to get to.
The 1997 Chevrolet blazer modulator valve is located on the firewall in the engine compartment. The valve will be on the passenger side of the firewall.
The EGR valve is located under the air intake on the intake manifold, you must remove the intake hose to access it thare are two bolts oposit each other, it's not that bad to remove.
