I won't even pretend to know about Honda ignition. But I would Strongly recommend
you listen to Sam & Dave (not sure if it's both) on Saturday mornings ( SC,Columbia.am radio 560 ), they have a call in show and they are truly the Best.I have no affiliation with them or any other radio show on am dial but I always listen on weekends.
A wealth of unbias knowledge....of course they'll plug sponsors but when it comes to honesty & mechanics your search stops there !
the ignition module is located in the distributor
inside the distributor
bad ignition coil, bad plugs. bad plug wires, bad ignition control module........
The Ignition Control Module on the 4 cyl models is located under the Distributor cap.
Either the coil is bad or the ignition control module is bad.I would think the coil is faulty.
I have an 88 Honda prelude and my computer is located under the carpet on the passenger side.

how to put in a ignition on a Honda accord 1991

check ignition
The ignition module is a small electrical part approx 3/4" x 1" that is located in the distributor by removing the distributor cap and looking for this small part that has about 4 wires going to it.
From what I can find out it seems to be located inside the distributor. You must remove the distributor cap to see it. For pictures check the link.
