I had a similar problem. Turned out to be a bad solenoid on the fuel injector. Required the replacement of the entire fuel injector. After that, the problem was solved.
if its a cpi it would be in the the middle of the intake as part of a injector assembly on a 4.3L
its located next to the oil filter
You need to attach a fuel pressure gauge to the port on the fuel rail to measure the pressure.
Called an "oil pressure sender", it's most usually close to the oil filter.
Could be a broken timing belt or a bad Engine Control Module.
Remove the oil pressure sensor, connect a manual oil pressure gauge to the port & start engine. You should have 10 18 psi at idle. hope it helps, Slackers Of Va.
The pressure is checked with a gauge, the electronics are checked with an appropriate scan tool and a volt/ohm meter. The pressure is checked with a gauge, the electronics are checked with an appropriate scan tool and a volt/ohm meter.
1. low oil 2. electronic oil pressure switch has failed (probably not a mechanical oil pressure gauge cause then you would see a oil line running through the firewall to the gauge. 3. short in the wiring
Find them and remove them
It's low on freon.
My oil pressure gauge is dropping to o and the oil was just changed and is full. What could cause this
