I just looked high and low for mine and finally found it. It is in a terrible spot compared to most cars. If you lay on your back and crawl under the steering wheel facing up it will be on the right side of the steering column. (Should take yoga before attempting.) Make sure to have a flash light as it is impossible to see once you twist your way under there!! There is a black cover with very faint gold lettering indicating the fuses. Your manual will have a better description of what fuse is what. Also, being that you are in such a tight spot you may want to have a small fuse puller with you. I did not see one in this fuse box so i had to crawl back out and get the puller out of the fuse box in the engine compartment. (They look like little white tweezers...you will only see the top of them). I don't know how Pontiac, ok Toyota would expect you to do this on the side of the road somewhere, but with a little bit of effort you can get it done. What a P.I.T.A.!!!

I have just located the instrument panel fuse box. Look underneath the dashboard, just to the right of the steering column (you are now on your back...the top of your head is facing the engine). You will see a black rectangle, about 1"x4" with the fuse diagram printed on the cover.
