The instrument panel fuse box is next to impossible to find on your own. It is inside the car, forward of the driver's left knee, behind the coin drawer that's to the left of the steering column.
Just pull out the drawer and you will see the fuse block. There's a chart on the back of the drawer in addition to the one that is inside the owner's manual (toward the rear of the manual on a page that's NOT referenced in the Index.)
