Prior to removal upload the config. Info. to the star tester, this info. Needs to be downloaded into the module once installed.
Disconnect the battery, be careful not to have elect. charges may cause damage
1. Removing the LH instruments panel lower insulator.
- remove the pin ype retainers
- disconnected courtesy lamp
- remove the insulator
2. Position the LCM aside.
- remove the locking tab
- release the locking tab
- position the LCM aside.
3. Remove LCM.
- disconnect electrical connectors
- remove the LCM.
Installation is the reverse, don't forget to download the config. info. When the battery is disconnected and reconnected some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its strategy, it may need to be driven about ten miles to relearn. Good luck.
