By law in the US the OBD II DLC (Data Link Connector) has to be within 18" of the steering column.

It's called the Data Link Connector (DLC) and is found above the emergency brake pedal.
Hopefully very soon Nintendo just need to authorise it. The DLC will be five , Dead Ops Arcade , kowloon , stadium , discovery , Berlin wall and ascension.

It is OBD2. OBD3 is not out yet, and the OBD2 was REQUIRED in 1996. Ford actually started using OBD2 in 1994 even though not yet required. You can always look for the 16 pin DLC on the drivers side of the vehicle somewere around the underside of the dashboard, usually about knee hight. Obd vehicles the connector could be anywere and have any shape, and amount of pins but are usually located in fender, under the hood. I hope this answers you question.

I believe the data link connector (DLC) is in your dash, below your steering wheel, covered by a small plastic panel - that either removes, flips up, or flips down.
What you are looking for is the DLC or Data Link Connector which will require an OBD-II reader to retrieve codes from. The location of the DLC is on the driver's side under the dash.
The Sierra Madre is the location of the Fallout New Vegas DLC Dead Money. This DLC cannot be bought anywhere on console other than live.
