it is located on the passanger sideand its the one befor the cat converter ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- actually , bank 2 is the drivers side of the engine
Location of sensor
The 1996-2001 Elantra's have two sensors the upstream and downstream the upstream sensor is located the exhaust manifold and the downstream is located behind the catalytic converter.
As far as I know, there are 4 oxygen sensors on a 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe. 1 upstream sensor and 1 downstream sensor located in the front manifold/exhaust and 1 upstream and 1 downstream sensor located in the rear manifold/exhaust.
Two, an upstream and a downstream oxygen sensor. One is on top of the exhaust manifold, and is easy to spot. The other is under the car between the manifold and catalytic converter.
There are four oxygen sensor in a Maxima 2001. See Nissanhelp.com for a diagram location.
there are 2, upstream which is under the exaust manifold flanges and the downstream which is in the exaust pipe
its screwed into the exhaust pipe there should be 3 Two upstream and one after the cat
That would be the sensor after the catalytic converter.
The upstream sensor screws into the front of the catalytic converter. The downstream is screwed into the pipe after the catalytic converter.
Upstream Oxygen Sensor heater performance. That will be the first oxygen sensor in the exhaust pipe ( closest to the engine ) on the passenger side head. You need to check the wireing connector that hooks to the oxygen sensor for a broken wire are bad connection. If you find no problems, then replace oxygen sensor.
There are two. The upstream screws into the catalytic converter. The downstream is in the pipe after the catalytic converter.
Bank 2 is the drivers side of the engine in your 2001 Ford F-150 Sensor 1 is in the exhaust before the catalytic converter ( upstream ) Sensor 2 is in the exhaust after the catalytic converter ( downstream )
