On the passenger side of the engine, about 5" or so from your heater fan motor you will see a" can" with an insulation wrap around it. This is the accumulator/drier. It has 2 metal lines going into the top of it and a third fitting on top, which has a plastic cap on it. This is the low side fitting, the plastic cap is removed so the low side A/C pressure guage hose can be attached to check pressures or recharge the system.
its under the heating swicth
The receiver drier will be located in the front of the vehicle next to the a/c condenser........
It is located in the liquid line connection tube at the evaporator. (Lower, smaller diameter, tube connector at bottom of evaporator). The accumulator / drier usually needs to be removed to gain access.
On top of the accumulator/drier (It's the cylinder on the passenger side of the engine not too far from your heater fan) It has a plastic cap covering the valve.
You can refill the AC 2001 Lincoln navigator is located on the accumulator or receiver-drier.
Check at the top of the accumulator drier-usually located at the passenger side firewall
On top of the air conditioning accumulator/drier "can" located on the passenger side of your engine, around 5 inches from your heater/ air conditioning fan motor. It has a plastic cap covering the port.
Check on top of the accumulator/drier at the passenger side firewall
Modern auto A/C sytems use R134a refridgerant not freon or R12. Add refridgerant to your system by accessing the "low side" fitting. It is located on the accumulator/drier near the firewall on the passenger side. The high side is near the battery on the driver side. There is no way to get them mixed up because the fittings are different sizes.
low-side charging port, located on top of the accumulator/drier, on the passenger's side firewall under the hood.
Its on the Receiver Drier/Accumulator. I found a drawing of it on the site listed below.
Usually at the top of the accumulator/ drier unit at the passenger side firewall
