2008 doesn't have a Mall PGM fuse it has a RFA/MOD Fuse instead

The year is an issue but I know that in the 97-03 Pontiac grand prix's the MALL pgm is located in the passenger glove box. There is a small cavity with the words PULL HERE. Pull the box out and behind that is the fuse box with the MALL pgm.

Assuming it is in one of the two Intrigue fuseboxes, it will either be in the fusebox located under the hood and on the passenger fenderwell, OR it will be in the inside fusebox located on the right side of the dash where the dash meets the passenger door. CPC
How do you reprogram a keyless entry remote for 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix?
Hello, I just bought a 2001 GT and got a remote off Ebay. this is how you do it , 1. Remove the ignition key from the ignition lock cylinder. 2. Remove the Mall PGM fuse from the fuse panel. 3. Close all of the doors. 4. pu key into ignition 5. Turn the ignition lock cylinder to ACC. 6. Turn the ignition lock cylinder to OFF, and then back to ACC within 1 second. 7. Open and close any vehicle door. A chime will be heard when the system enters the BCM programming/diagnostic mode. Important - After 7 seconds, a chime may be heard confirming successful synchronization. It is necessary to wait approximately 14 seconds for a second chime that will confirm successful programming. 8. Press and hold the transmitter LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously for 14 seconds. 9. Repeat the previous step on each additional transmitter to be programmed. 10. Remove the ignition key from the ignition lock cylinder. 11. Install the mall pgm fuse back into the fuse panel. Hope that works

AnswerI asked this question but neewd to clarify it further. I know to go to www.programyourremote.com. It says to remove the mall pgm fuse. I am looking in my owners manual and I don't see any mall fuses but the mall/radio/dic fuse. Do you think this could be the fuse they mean?Try to find the BCM fuse and remove it.Turn the key to acc, back towards you.turn off and back towards you again in 1 sec. open any door. This should put it in program mode.press lock and unlock at the same time for 14-15 secs. you should hear 1 chime at about 7 secs.Let go of the buttons and take the key out. It should work. I just did it for my '98 silhouette. Good luck!
