SHOULD BE A THIN CABLE ON THE SAME SIDE AS THE FILLER DOOR IS,IF ITS MISSING ALL YOU HAVE TO DO GET TO THE INSIDE OF THE FENDER WELL AND LOCATE THE RELEASE LEVER. GOOD LUCK PAUL G
The trunk release in a 1995 Dodge Intrepid is under the dashboard on the driver's side. There is also a remote trunk release.
It is located in the trunk on the underside of the package shelf next to the passenger side 6x9 speaker.
In the truck remove the left side trunk liner and there is a manual release to open the fuel door
open the trunk. against the very back piece of the truck compartment is a small gap. it slides into it from inside.
There is no remote trunk release. You must get out and open it using the handle.
