On my 98 Honda civic it is located just below the air filter opposite the firewall. It's kind of hard to get to, but not impossible. I had to move a small hose-clamp and use a very short Phillips screwdriver to remove the two screws.
It's on top of the throttle body.
no idea i hope i helped
the map sensor is located on top the intake manifold and reads off map sensor just disconnect wire then get a Philips screw driver and take off then replace and put back on
The map sensor is located on the passenger side fire wall.
on the side of your throttle body dont confuse your map sensor they look the same
A 99 civic actually doesn't have a mass air flow sensor. It uses a Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor and the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) instead to determine how much air is entering the engine.
The map sensor is located on the fire wall towards the passenger side right under the wind shield.
Code 45 on a Honda Civic means the car is not getting proper fuel flow. All the major fuel components should be checked such as the map sensor, oxygen sensor, and fuel pump.
The MAP sensor on my 93 Honda Accord is located in the emission control box mounted, on firewall near fuse box...
The MAP sensor is located on the firewall of the engine compartment, right by the stamped VIN number on the firewall..
On/by the Throttle body, should read "sensor assy map"
There is no mass air flow sensor on a 98 accord only a map sensor
