Follow the flow of air from the air cleaner to the throttle body. You will see it.
On a 2001 Ford Explorer : The Mass Air Flow sensor is located between the engine air filter housing and the large diameter engine air intake tube
On a 2001 Ford E-150 : The Mass Air Flow sensor is between the engine air filter and the engine air intake tube . ( it is INSIDE a round shaped plastic housing )
INLINE WITH THE AIR INTAKE NEAR THE AIR FILTER.
On a 2001 Ford Expedition , 4.6 : The Mass Air Flow sensor is between the engine air filter and the large diameter engine air intake tube * it is INSIDE the round shaped plastic housing
On a 2001 Ford Windstar : The Mass Air Flow sensor is INSIDE the round shaped plastic housing between the engine air filter and the engine air intake tube * you will see where the wires go into the bottom of the housing
Mass Airflow Sensor
On a 2001 Ford Escort ZX2 , 2.0 liter DOHC four cylinder engine : The Mass Air Flow sensor is between the engine air filter housing and the engine air intake tube . It is INSIDE a round shaped plastic housing
On a 2001 Ford Winstar : I assume it would be between the engine air filter and the big rubber engine air intake tube . On my Ford Explorer it is inside a circular housing so from the outside I only see where the wires connect to the MAF sensor
where is mass air flow sensor located at on a 2011 ford fusion 4 cylinder
It doesn't have a mass air flow sensor.
On a 2001 Ford F-150 : ( for all engine sizes ) The Mass Air Flow sensor is between the engine air filter and the big engine air intake tube It is INSIDE the round shaped plastic housing
The IAT ( Intake Air Temp Sensor ) is located intenally to the MAF (Mass Airflow Sensor). The dual sensor is between the air filter box and the engine. An electrical pluf is attached to it. TechJK ---------------------
