Number one cylinder is the one closest to the passenger side fender.
4, one of them is the thrust bearing
It holds 3.7 qts.(3.5 liters) I have one with 85,000 miles on it.
Yes, the 1992 Geo Metro does have one air bag. There is only an airbag for the driver and not the passenger side.
There is not one.
If its from 85 then its NOT a geo metro engine. It is probably a Chevrolet Sprint engine because they only started making Geos in 88. If you need an engine for your 95 Geo then you could use one of the following: 1991 - 1995 Geo Metro engine. 1991 - 1995 Suzuki Swift Engine, and 1991 - 1995 Pontiac FireFly engine. Hope this helps :)
It could be any number of things. Most common for the Geo Metro is one of the main engine fuses went out, one of the battery terminals shorted (happens a lot in older Metros), or a main engine component such as your alternator or starter is not working. Hope this helped :)
"HOW WHAT" You need to be specific, No one can answer a vauge question like this.
One. The stock Geo Metro from 1995 and on consists of a catalytic converter a resonator and the muffler. In sure it holds true for the earlier models as well
It is fuel injected. It may appear to be a carburetor but is in reality a throttle body fuel injection system with one injector.
i have seen one in a colt and that's not much differences of a Geo
four and one half
What one of the 16 trim panels I can think of on the Metro And what year, Because it matters!
A 1993 Geo Metro has two fuse boxes. One fuse box, that has the relays in it, is under the hood and the other fuse box is under the dash next to the driver side door.
there is only one coil of you are getting power to it but no spark replace it
it is probably because it doesn't have a condenser. most Geo metro's are for gas millage not for any thing els. and don't buy one to put on it if it never had one it wont handle it overheating bigger radiators.
Yes, they are compatible. You could also use a 1994 - 1998 Suzuki Swift engine. Or if you can find one a 1994 - 1998 Pontiac FireFly engine. Hope this helped.
take one off at a time, and replace with a new one. then so on.
bad plug at the wiring connection
Sounds like you have your firing order mixed up maybe...1-3-2 COUNTER-Clockwise. Double check the spark plug wires. Number one tower on distributor is the uppermost tower. Number one cylinder is closest to the passenger's side fender. If it's a 4 cylinder it's 1-3-4-2 CCW
We would like to know where the fuse box is located on a 1997 geo metro.
I believe the '92 Metro has three wires (two in one connector, one in the other) to the alternator.
Hi, The number 1 cylinder is at the front. The firing order is 1-3-4-2 and the rotation of the distributor is clockwise. I hope this is timely for you and helps you out. Steve H.
Hey Jeremiah==It is possible but VERY expensive. GoodluckJoe I have not done this but one time I replaced a motor in a 1992 GEO metro 5speed with another metro motor from an automatic I had to remove the torq converter and flywheel and put the flywheel and clutch on it from the oringinal one I had on it and it worked. hope this might help a little.
Tank (US gallons)10.60 Used to have one :)
