passenger side of car either on the exhaust manifold or in the pipe before the cat converter.....
the one behind cat is sensor 2
The Mass Air Pressure sensor is located at the top rear of the engine, close to the firewall. Remove the Vortec engine cover (I believe it's an 8mm), and from the driver's side, find the rear-most sensor connection (it has 3 wires), and follow it. The sensor looks like this:
The knock 1 sensor on a Vortec 4.8 is located on the top of the engine. You will have to remove the intake to gain access to replace it.
The Camshaft sensor is located in the distributor.
The oil pressure sensor, on your 2003 Chevrolet engine, is located on the front of the engine, just above the oil pan. The pressure sensor will have two wires going to it.
Apparently, there is none. They started using them in 1996.
The knock sensors yes there are two are located on either side of the motor (4.3LTR Vortec) below the heads in the center area of the engine block. There are a place for another sensor just above where the knock sensor goes but these are for other sensors. the crankshaft position sensor is located at the underneath side of the engine right at the bottom of the timing chain cover / front of oil pan
located on the left exhaust manifold pipe at bottom of engine
The sensor is down on the front of the oil pan just behind the crankshaft pully, which is located at the front of the engine.
It sure can.
That engine has 2 of them and there underneith the intake manifold. You will have to remove the intake to get to them.
Should be on the front of the engine block, if you have a vortec it is on the lower maifold below the EGR valve.
