To fill, there is a third plug, you must remove the drivers side tire, than through the wheel well remove the plug on the drivers side of the transmission, fill through the top of the tranny (red cap with gear) until the fluid (Dextron Mercon III) comes out the side drain hole. When the fluid comes out the side, the transmission is full. Replace side plug, than filler cap. Wipe down surface of excess/ spilled fluid than put cardboard under tranny and start motor. Let run in nutral. Check card board for fluid leaks.
