Assuming it is remote....from the engine it is roughly inside the splash panel for the radiator. LH side. Most have an Access door that has a screw holding the door closed. ( Yes, I have a 95. It's under the splash panel for the radiator. Be careful when you turn the filter off. The unit it's attached to is held on by a few bolts. It's cast iron and can break( or has already broken at the bolts. Mine was broke when I got the truck. You can buy a new unit, or use the really big zip ties to hold it in place. Which is what I did.) If not remote..... it is in the LH rear corner of the engine. Goto the front driveshaft's front ujoint. Straight up from there. Stan
i have a 1994 gmc s-15 4wd jimmy. my oil filter is right behind the driver side headlight. sounds wierd i know but that's where it is.

I had a 99 F150 4wd with a 4.6L engine. The filter was located in front of the driver's side front tire, attached to the frame rail.
push the 4Hi button- Go's into 4WD. Push 4HI button again- Go's out of 4WD
It is under the driver seat next the transmission oil stick.
