There are two different engines that were available. One is exposed and you should be able to find on the exterior lower right side of the engine. And the other motor sports a cartridge style filter. This one is located on the top of the motor slightly towards the driver's side. There is a black cap with a large hex nut on it that needs to be unscrewed. on the right rear if the engine underneath the car. Take off the passenger side front wheel for better view and access I have a 2003 and it is on top of the engine attached to the head just below the oil filler cap. You need a big 32mm socket to get the cap off and a small socket extension or knuckle to get past the air intake pipe. Pull the cartridge off when you get the cap off; don't try to unscrew it.
next to the tank
The 2002 Pontiac sunfire does not have a cabin filter. The air flows freely either in fresh air or recirculation modes.
The fuel filter on a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire is in the rear between the fuel tank and the rear axle. By the way its under the car and easy to change takes about 10 minutes.
no
I know that on a '96 the fuel filter is an in-line type near the fuel tank. As Pontiac hasn't really altered much on the Sunfire in over ten years, I'd suggest starting there.
The fuel filter, or the air filter? Are you looking for a part number? I'd check with my local parts store.FriPilot
Where is the fuel idle control valve for a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire
The side of the driver's door on my 2002 Pontiac sunfire is a little hard to read, but I believe it says 30 PSI.
Orpheus filter? I am sorry but I don't think there is any Orpheus filter. I am unsure why Pontiac would want to filter song and poetry.
It sould just pop off like a plug in a wine bottle.
I need to know how to remove a rear wheel speed sensor on a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire
