It should be in the same spot it is on the 2001. Laying along the front bumper with your head closest to the front passenger tire, below the radiator there will be plastic shroud that runs the length of the engine. If you stick your left arm under the shroud and then up towards the front bumper - you will feel the oil filter. To remove the filter, to avoid having to take this shroud off everytime you change the filter (there are a fair amount of bolts holding it on), you will be better off getting a saw and cutting away a portion of this shroud right around the filter. I cut off a half-circle piece about 6 - 8 ins wide by about 6 inches deep. Also, while removing the filter, the filter gasket always sticks to the engine. Once you get the filter off, look at it to see if the gasket is still on the filter. If you do not see it, it is stuck to the engine where you screw the filter on. If it is stuck to the engine, make sure you remove it before putting the new filter on. If you do not, oils will weak all over the place. The 2007 6 cylinder oil filter is in front middle with no cover over it. It's easy to spot
