The oil filter is in between the radiator and the engine. If you imagine a line between the middle of the licence plate and the oil plug it should be in the middle

to get the oil filter out you need to remove the black cover in front of the cross member by the two wing bolts and then pull the oil filter through there.

The oil filter is on the back of the engine. If you are under the car and under the oil pan u should be able to see your filter. Reach over the top of the engine and twist the filter to your right. It is right below the intake manifold of your car.
You can find the oil pressure sensor for your 1999 Pontiac Montana on the front of the engine. The low pressure oil sensor will be just below the left cylinder head.
