Where is the oil pressure sending unit on a 1995 F150 truck with a 302 motor at
It is located in the front of the motor just above the starter.
by the the oil filter
The Oil Pressure Switch (Oil Sending Unit) is located on the rear of the motor towards the top. The crank sensor is located next to it if that helps any.
The oil pressure sending unit on a 302 ford is located on the block of the engine. It screws into the block and the sending unit goes on the end. The oil pressure sending unit on a 302 Ford is slightly above and to the left of the oil filter. I find it is easier to replace with the oil filter out.
Unplug the electrical connector and slide the OIL SENDING UNIT SOCKET down over it and screw it out. It is a special socket. If you have the room you can screw it out with a pair of pliers.
It is located under the motor right next to the oil filter. I just changed mine today.
