There is no such thing as an oil pressure switch on your 1994 Ford Ranger 3.0 liter engine. There is an oil pressure sensor. The oil pressure sensor can be found on the left-hand side of the engine.
There isn't a sensor that will shut off the engine if the oil pressure is too low
The switch is located just above the brake pedal.
