its located in the oil pan...
The power steering pump has nothing to do with the motore being single-overhead cam or dual-over head cam. Look and see if it says on the rocker-cover SOHC or DOHC single or dual.
The water pump in the 2.7 runs off the timing chain, replacement can be a lengthy process and should be done by someone who is well experienced with dual overhead can timing
The coil on the relay should read about 70 ohms
My F350 has two pumps, one in each tank. The tank switch turns each pump on.
Where is the fuel pump relay on a 97 eclipse?"
It is located inside the gas tank. You can access it from the inside under back seat on the passenger side.
Its a Dual Pump because it contains 2 pumps, the atria and the ventricles. Atria work as a weak primer pump that pump to the ventricles and ventricles are the major pump that distributes it.
A dual pump and filter system are ran by connecting them in parallel. Each pump is connected to the feel supply when then in turn is sent out of its own filter.
It depends on the motor..if you have overhead cam...then YES. The timing belt has to be removed when the water pump is changed and the cam sprockets have to be set to correct timing when the belt is replaced.
The fuel pump is inside the fuel tank.
