The O2 sensor is located on the air intake system. It connects the air filter box to the air intake manifold. It is the only peice on the air intake assembly that has an electrical connection (i.e. wires connect to it).
On your V6 engine : Bank 1 is the passenger side of the engine Sensor 1 is in the exhaust pipe ( or exhaust manifold ) before the exhaust enters the catalytic converter ( upstream )

Sensor one is in the exhaust manifold on the back of the engine. Sensor two is in the side of the catalytic converter.

The P0155 refers to the Oxygen sensor on Bank 2, sensor 1. Bank 2 on your vehicle is on the passenger side of the engine. Sensor 1 is the first oxygen sensor in the exhaust pipe coming from the engine.

The oxygen sensor on a 2000 Silhouette is mounted to the exhaust system. To replace it raise the vehicle and safely secure it. Make sure the engine is cold. The sensor is thread in to the exhaust pipe. Loosen the sensor and unplug it. Replace the sensor.
A 2000 Dodge Ram diesel does not have an oxygen sensor.
