A little more information please ( what year of Ford Ranger , what size is the
engine ) As far as I know there could be as many as four oxygen sensors
or as little as one depending on the year and engine size
There is one in the exhaust system before the catalytic converter and sometimes one after it.
their is more than one oxygen sensor but the one that is probly bad is on the exhaust system. otherwise I would check the map sensor.
You have one in each of the exhaust manifolds. it might be on the cross-over pipe behind the engin
Looking at the 1991 Ford Ranger - 4.0 L V6 - engine wiring schematic in my Chilton repair manual , it shows ( ONE ) heated exhaust gas oxygen sensor
One
Bank # 1 is the passenger side of the engine Bank # 1 , SENSOR # 1 , is close to the engine in the exhaust Bank # 1 , SENSOR # 2 , is in the exhaust after the catalytic converter ( downstream )
It has ( one oxygen sensor ) on the 1991 and 1992 Ford Explorers
The speed sensor is located on the differential (rear end) I have a 99 Ford Ranger and have recently replaced one. EASY! Good luck!
On my 1999 F-250 light duty there are 4 of them and there is one in front of the catylitic converter and one behind on each side...
There are 2 in the Y pipe one behind the cats and one on the air inlet tube between the air box and intake manifold
On a ford e350, the bank two sensor two is on the drivers side. The sensor is the one behind the catalytic converter.
There isn't one. It only has a dual vane crankshaft position sensor.
