Chevrolet discontinued cabin air filters on the Suburban in 2003. (However, the C.A.F. on a 99-02 is located under the dash on the passenger side. There is a black plastic cover that will need to be partially removed. After that, you will see the blower motor housing/ducting. On this you will see a plastic panel about 7" long by 2" wide. Remove the two gold colored screws and "viola" there are the two C.A.F.s.)

One air filter is located in the engine compartment and is to keep foreign particles out of the intake chamber. The other one is located in the passenger compartment and is to help keep foreign particles and some allergens out of the passenger compartment.
The cabin air filter on a 2000 BMW 323ci is located under the glove compartment. It filters air which enters and is circulated through the passenger compartment.
The fuel filter is on the passenger side of the engine compartment, up against the back(directly in front of the passenger seat).
On mine, its located under the hood, in the motor compartment, mounted on the passenger fender.
Shold be mounted to the passenger side firewall.
I believe it is in the engine compartment by the firewall on the passenger side.

The engine air filter is located inside the air cleaner housing , on the passenger side of your engine compartment ( just follow the big rubber " tube " from the front of your engine , near the top of the engine , over to the passenger side of your engine compartment )
