The power steering fluid is stored in the power steering reservoir. The power steering pump is driven by a belt. Look for it.
P/S fluid reservoir.
It should be connected to the power steering pump which is under the alternator; probably right next to the battery.
Lower left front side of engine.
A person adds power steering fluid under the hood of the car to the power steering fluid reservoir. It is labeled power steering, on a yellow twist cap.
It is a black reservoir to the left of the engine. A small dipstick is attached to the back of the cap to measure the power steering fluid level.
The reservoir for the power steering fluid on a 1994 Toyota 4Runner takes approximately 1/4 a liter. The whole system uses slightly less then two quarts.
It is at the far bottom of the car pretty much in line with the power steering reservoir except a little towards the cab of the car at the far bottom.
In the trunk. The power steering fluid reservoir should instead be filled with Mopar ATF+3 or equivalent meeting the +3 standard.
