Do you mean the Power Steering reservoir?
If so, it's not a fun one to get at.
The Impala uses the 3800 (or 3400) engine depending on if you have an LS or not. The easiest way to get at the power steering reservoir and dipstick is by approaching from the passenger side. The dipstick and reservoir are located on the back of the engine, towards the firewall all the way at the bottom.
For fun, take it to a dealer and say you need them to check the power steering fluid levels, then listen to all the fun curse words they say when you tell them it's got the 3800 engine.
It doesn't have a bleed valve for the power steering.
Under the cap that says Power Steering, behind and under the Alternator, by the Firewall.
The reservoir is located on the passenger side rear of engine.
passenger side under the alternator
Top of engine on the passenger side.
power steering is located right behind alt deep in the right side ull feel it then turn nob.
Assuming you are putting it in the power steering, why not?
Yes it does although it is difficult to find the power steering fluid is located near the back of the motor on the passenger side!
At th power steering pump reservoir.
the power steering reservoir is normally located under the alternator so you would have to reach behind and then under it to reach the reservoir.
regular power steering fluid is all you need.
The Power Steering Pump and Reservoir assembly is somewhat beside and below the Alternator by the Firewall on the Passenger's Side. Look down and you should see the hidden cap.....
