As you are facing the front of the truck, it is located to the left of the gas chamber, below the air flow (on the passenger side of the engine). It is a black rectangular shaped part with two hoses connected to it and an electrical connecter/harness connected to it as well. I have attached a picture of the part. Thx.

On my 2000 Ranger it was sitting on top, easy to get to. There is a tube that runs from the exhaust manifold to the intake manifold, on that tube is two tubes that run to the EGR(DPFE) pressure sensor(I think that is what you mean). Follow the two tubes to the pressure sensor. Hope this helps!
