I have been working the refrigerant pressure sensor issue on a 2002 Cavalier. On that model (l'm quite sure the 02 and 03 are the same) the RPS is located on an the smaller diameter aluminum high pressure refrigerant line coming from the compressor. Look on the passenger side of the car (US) sort of behind the headlight and a little toward the driver's side. There is a cross-member that goes from passenger side to driver's side--look up underneath that cross-member next to the radiator. You'll see a high pressure fitting (with red cap) and the refrigerant pressure sensor next to that--it has a three-wire connector. Hope this helps!

This vehicle does not have a low pressure switch. It has a pressure transducer instead. The pressure transducer is located on the refrigerant line next to the alternator pulley.
the oil pressure sending unit for a 1995 Cavalier 2.2 is on the side of the engine. The sensor is located just behind the oil filter.
On a 1993 Grand Am (and most other GM front drivers) there is no low pressure switch, instead it has a thermal expansion valve system with a "pressure transducer" located on the high pressure hose. The pressure transducer sends a square wave digital signal to the PCM, which can calculate high side pressure in PSI through a mathematical formula, which in turn sends a signal to the a/c compressor clutch relay to turn on if the pressure is within the set parameters. The a/c pressure transducer cannot be checked with a test light or such, you WILL short the computer if you try!!
If you are asking about the code "governor pressure offset voltage" the governor pressure transducer is located on the valve body inside the transmission pan.
The oil pressure sensor is located behind the engine just to the right of the coil packs
Fuel Pressure Regulator is located on the fuel rail.
It is part of the pressure transducer inside the transmission, on the valve body.
There isn't one. This system uses an evaporator temperature probe and a high side pressure transducer. The temp probe is on the evaporator in the HVAC box, and the transducer is screwed into the discharge line under the hood.
The engine computer uses the coolant temperature sensor and the air conditioning pressure transducer to decide when to operate the radiator fan. The coolant temperature sensor is located near the thermostat housing on top of the engine. The ac transducer is on the line between the compressor and condenser. The engine computer uses the coolant temperature sensor and the air conditioning pressure transducer to decide when to operate the radiator fan. On a Chevy Cavalier, the low pressure switch is located under the hood on the passenger side, next to the radiator. It is situated near the top corner of the radiator.
Virtually all vehicles since 1994 use refrigerant r-134a. On a 97 Suburban, the suction (low pressure) and discharge (high pressure) ports are located on top of the compressor. Refrigerant is added to the low pressure side. It is attached to the larger refrigerant piping and hose which runs to the accumulator-drier at the firewall. The smaller high pressure pipe attaches to the condenser located in front of the radiator. Do NOT attach a refrigerant can to the high pressure line.
Located in the front of the engine compartment between the radiator and the engine.
