Just over ten gallons.
Fuel pump in a Fiero is electric. It's in the gas tank. Gas tank's in the middle of the car. Drop the tank. Pull the pump.
the fuel pump is in the fuel tank. you can access to it by the top of the fuel tank once it's removed.
The fuel take is located under the car between the seats.
the fuel tank has to be dropped from the car to access it.
all fieros have it in the gas tank
inside the gas tank
I disconect the line from the tank from the injection system and then hot wire the pump If you cant do that its a real pain, You will have to drop the tank and remove the fuel level se4nsor and fuel pump assembly.
Are you still waiting at the gas station?? I'm sure you found it, right behind the drivers head on the left side of the interior.
Unfortunately it is in the gas tank between the seats. To get to it you have to remove the tank working underneath the car, and then remove the pump from the tank.
The fuel tank is located up under the car in the "hump" between the seats. It takes 4 half inch or 13 millimeter bolts to remove it.
A fuel tank trap door is pretty much a pipe dream of those faced with having to drop a fuel tank to replace the fuel pump. The answer is no.
All Fieros have the fuel pump inside the fuel tank By the way you may be having trouble because there was no fiero in 1977, production was from 1984 to 1988 so your car is probably a 1987
The pulser in the tank on Fiero does not exsist. The item that buzzes inside the tank for a second every time the key is turned on is the fuel pump. The computer turns it on when the key is turned on and while the starter is turning the engine. The pump is run by a relay and the oil pressure switch going down the road.
The Fiero Fuel Pump Pulsator is located in the fuel tank connecting the fuel pump to the tube leading out to the engine. It has a rubber insert that connects both tubes (the pump being one of them) It is supposed to smooth the fuel flow but many have yet to determine a difference if it is removed.
The fuel pump is inside the fuel tank. The tank has to be removed to access.
The fuel tank lock is tied into the vacuum door lock system. When the doors are unlocked then so should the trunk and gas cap. The door lock can be released from inside the trunk.
On a ( 1997 ) Lincoln Town Car there is a fuel door release button on the lower part of the drivers door ( see if your 1993 has something similar )
The Fuel pump in all Fieros regardless of year or engine (assuming stock engine), is in the fuel tank itself. Replacement of the fuel pump requires the removal of the fuel tank from the bottom of the car. The access port is located on the top of the tank. There is no access to it from within the car. The gas tank opener for the 86 Fiero, is located on the "B" pillar, located behind and to the left of the drivers seat approximately 3 inches back from the door opening, and four inches down from the roof. It is a pull down hook.
All fiero fuel pumps are electrical and housed inside the fuel tank. It requires you jack up the car and completely drop the fuel tank. The fuel level gauge sensor can also be damaged if you are not careful. Due to the explosive nature of gasoline I had mine replaced at a local shop for under $200. You may want to check the fuel pump relay and fuel filter before replacing the fuel pump.
This depends on whether you count the pickup sock inside the tank as a filter. There is a regularly changed filter on the lower part of the front fire wall. There is the sock on the fuel pump inside the fuel tank.
Usual location for the fuel pump is inside the gas tank. Having an access door would open up possibilities for leaks or explosion. yes you have to drop the fuel tank in order to replace the fuel pump. the fuel pump is located at the top of the fuel tank and unscrews out of the tank.
2 door or 4 door?
