The windshield washer pump is located on the water reservoir. Remove the wheel on the driver's side and then the cowling around the wheel well that is in front of the wheel. Once it is off, the windshield washer pump on the water reservoir will be visible for easy replacement.
The other one is for the rear window washer.
you have to remove the battery and tray, remove the iner fender well, un bolt it and remove fluid lines. Then reverse the prcess.
If the 2003 model is similar to eariler models, the washer fluid comes from the reservoir under the hood and is the same supply for the front washers. Hard to believe but a small hose runs all the the way from the front of the vehicle to the rear window on my 96 Tahoe.
on the power steering pump.
on these ones it is easier to take off the driver front tire and take out the inner fender wheel well , u can see everything from there,,hope this helps out
About 3/4 of a gal.
Should reset when fluid added--may be defective sensor in reservoir
You have to take the battery out and remove bolts at the top of the reservoir. Then you have to remove the plastic pins inside the front left wheel well to allow you access to the bottom of the reservoir. There are bolts on the bottom to remove as well. You have to remove the hoses from the washer pumps and the reservoir should slide out thru the wheel well.
Sounds like the rubber line on the bottom of reservoir is leaking or tank is cracked CHECK IT OUT.
Smash the window that's the best way
