I was looking at the 1996 Ford F-150 owners manual and the only thing I
could find is that there is an information sticker located at the front of the
engine compartment that indicates where to look for the fuel pump
shut off switch ( inertia switch ) The information sticker is more towards the
drivers side of the engine compartment at the front
how do you reset the fuel cut-off shut switch on a 1995 ford econoline van?
The manual says to either push the button, and if it does not have one, to bang it against something, this will reset the switch inside.
Chrysler does not use reset switches.
The fuel pump reset ( inertia ) switch is in the right front passenger footwell , by or behind the kick panel
Chevrolet doesn't have a fuel reset switch. That's a Ford thing.
The fuel reset button is used when the vehicle is in an accident and the fuel pump needs to be shut off.
There isn't one!!
It doesn't need a shut off valve. In fact only Ford Motor Company installs fuel shut off valves in their cars.
In order to reset the fuel pump for a Ford E-150, you first need to locate the fuel pump shut-off switch. The fuel pump shut-off switch in a Ford E-150 should be located on the vanâ??s passenger side wall, right inside the door. Once you have found the switch, depress it. Once you press the button, the fuel pump should reset.
push the button down
Doesn't have one, that is a Ford/Mercury thing.
The fuel reset ( fuel pump inertia switch / fuel pump shut off switch ) is in the front passenger footwell , by the kick panel
