situated directly behind the 4 way flasher button, this unit operates both the turn signals and the 4 way flashers, unit cannot be repaired , replace $40. but be careful , many times the problem is actually in the signal stock, can sometimes cause a rapid clicking noise from flasher unit even when not in use, if this is the case just turn up the radio, repairs to signal stock can be very expensive $300 to $400, I have had this problem for 4 years on my Alero , cost to repair was estimated at $400 plus labour. Did not fix, no ill effects.
IT IS BEHIND THE FOUR WAY FLASHER SWITCH. IT IS ELECTRONIC AND CAN ONLY BE GOTTEN FROM A DEALER.
On my 2001 it is part of the Hazard switch. You have to replace the entire switch on a 2001.
Incorporated in the hazard warning module part of the hazard switch
are you asking about the turn signal bulbs , the turn signal switch or turn signal flasher ?
where is the flasher relay located in 2004 grand am
First check all the bulbs. If all the bulbs are good replace the signal flasher relay. If it still doesn't work it may be in the signal switch. The signals and the 4 way have separate circuits, fuses and flasher relays.
Bad flasher?
By flashers do you mean the signal blinkers or what???
The turn signal flasher is located behind the instrument panel on right hand side of steering column bracket.
You can find the flasher unit relay switch beneath the drivers side dashboard. The flasher unit relay switch will be above the brake pedal.
Should just unplug
The turn signal switch is on the left side of the steering column.
