If you keep getting a Po410 code You have water in your smog pump. It's located at the bottom of the radiator, passenger side. You can get the pump on e-bay but you'll need the GM # off the old pump. Also check the relay and fuse located on the passenger side wheel well behind the battery. Hope this helps!!
Smog pump replacement on 2001 s -10 BLAZER?
hi there... here is what happens... water gets into your smog pump due to the hose being too short (and it fries the smog pump sometimes, or it just gets frozen from the winter causing it not to work). When you install the new smog pump, if you can't dry out the other one and get it to work, you want to get the extention breather kit, which is an extra few feet of hose. also, check your fuses. they are located between the battery and the fender. there should be a 30 amp and a 10 amp. one might be blown causing your pump not to work in the first place. and if none of that works, see your mechanic. hope that helps.

A 91 geo metro the guy said it makes a putt putt noise while running but its still drivable What could be wrong with the car He said someone told him it had a blown headgasket or burned exhaustvalves?
The sound you are hearing is most likely the air pump(aka smog pump) pulsing air into the system to help lower the exhaust emissions. If you know where the smog pump is located, put your hand on the pump and you should feel it "pulse" to the sound you are hearing.
