Where is the spare tire on a Dodge Caravan 2006?
Under the center of the van, the lowering tool is inserted between the front seats.
One changes a tire on a Dodge Caravan by first jacking the vehicle off the ground. One then loosens the bolts on the flat tire and removes it. One then places the spare tire in the proper position, lowers the vehicle to the ground using the jack and then tightens the bolts with a wrench. One then checks the tire pressure on the spare and one is done.
I have a 2003 Dodge grand caravan and the spare tire is located right below the front seats. On the floor board in between the seats there is a cap over a stud that lowers the tire. It is very similar to a p/u truck. The jack on mine is located in the back cargo area on the left side. The wheel well is plastic and there is a door that comes off. Inside you…
It is suggested to drive as little as possible on a spare tire. This of course doesn't apply if it is a full size spare tire, but a donut? its there to get you to the shop, not drive around town for weeks. with that said, if you don't drive like a maniac, you should be able to drive on one for a long time, given you monitor the wear and tire pressure regularly
How do you find the color code on a 1994 Dodge Caravan since it does not seem to be on the door label?
There is a tool in the rear compartment with the jack, most are in a black bag. assemble the tool, and lower the tire by turning the nut located on the floor between the front seats. There is a cover over the nut to help keep it out of view. Lower it far enough to pull out the side of the van and unhook.
depending on what size of spare you have there looks to be only two options.. it's difficult without being provided the VIN. but if you have a compact spare it is part number 4860958AB if you have a full size spare it is part number 4860959AC hope that helps out a bit. -parts technicinan from Sherwood Park Dodge Chrysler Jeep
Why are sixteen inch compact spares available for the 1991 Dodge Caravan when it came equipped with fifteen inch wheels?
There may not be one. If the tire can be seen stowed underneath the rear of the vehicle, then there is no interior cover. Simply use the tool provided with the jack to turn the socket in the floor (usually counterclockwise) to lower the tire to the ground, then detach it from the hanger. The old tire can be stowed in the same manner if necessary by reve rsing the procedure.Spare tire is under driver…
The correct answer to this puzzling question is: the spare tire is located under and behind the engine compartment. If you look on the floor board between the drivers and passenger side you will find and plastic cap. Underneth is a hex head bolt that lowers the spare tire. You will find the bolt socket in the jack bag. This is the location for the stow-n-go vans. Have a nice day! Have you looked underneath…
