I just put one on 2 days ago, so im fresh with knowledge, get underneath your Tempo and directly underneath your oil filter you will see a cylinder about 6 to 8 inches long and about as big around as a soda can, and connected with that is a smaller cylinder shape about 3 to 4 inches long, its black and is in one piece it is connected to your transmission and it also has a bracket mounted to it that runs some hoses on further down the towards the gas tank, the easiest way to get it off is un hook your electrical wire and cables from the solenid switch and then remove the bracket from the bolts that are tightned with 5/8 inch nuts and then when you take the bolts out of the stater which are bolted to the tranny as well they are 1/2 inch nuts, and then once everything is off and disconnected it should slide out pretty smoothly, if you need to get them rebuilt it can usually be redone for about 65 to 75 dollars.....
