starter should be visible with flash light from under the car on the passenger side on the engine block. stock starter should be black and silver/metallic. looks about soda can size with a smaller cylindrical casing attached to it(this is the starter solinoid). disconnect car battery neg lead, then disconnect wires from starter.starter is held in place with simple mounting bolts. using appropriate socket/wrench remove bolts then pull out then down and out. Replacement is reverse of removal
