Look at the lower rear of the engine
No.
It is at the rear of the motor. Follow the largest cable from the battery(RED CABLE) to the back of the motor and it will end at the starter.
its on the left side behind the motor but before the transmission
About 1 hour at the most.
Under the hood, close to the motor.
The motor sits under the cowl at the base of the wiper arm.
With motor off unplug the battery. Then remove the wires from the starter. Undo the 2 bolts holding the starter in place and remove. Reverse procedure for installation.
You have to remove the starter and the sensor is behind there in the rear of the engine block.
There is no square plug on a Caravan starter. The starter is directly on front of engine near the oil filter . It is very obvious.
driver side on the back of the motor where is crak sensor on 94 jeep 4.0 grand Cherokee
A 98 should be the same as a 99. The starter is located in front of the car, by the exhaust man.. There are two bolts holding it to the motor/trans. Once yu get the bolts out, you then have to loosen the bar at the bottom of the motor. I replaced mine in 10 mins. Very simple. When you go to buy a new starter, you need to know if it is a GM or import style starter.
The options were 4.0L in-line 6 or 4.7L V8
