I think you are on the right track. The starter relay is near the battery connected by the short positive cable. Before long it will not start at all, shade or sun. Theses relays or solenoids have a reputation for failure. Also MAKE SURE the grounds are good on this vehicle. Usually on the inner fender--follow the + battery cable should connect to relay
The starter relay is on top of the starter.
where is low side valve located on a 1990 ford taurus?
There is none. The battery is hooked directly up to the starter. The solenoid part of the starter transfers the heavy amperage.
where is the horn relay on a 93 ranger
if it's like the s14..it doesn't have a relay..
That's the starter relay. Replace the starter.
Under the hood look at the inner fender close to the battery, it should be right there to the best of my knowledge.
It's on the starter.
the '93 Taurus has a 16 gallon tank
from what ive read you can switch the starter relay with the horn relay and give it a try.... if she starts and the horn dont work you have a bad relay
No, the starter will not fit. Different engine sizes and different starter styles.
you need a starter relay. Buy the repair manual for the car from an autoparts store and your good to go.
