Follow upper radiator hose down to engine block behind timing belt cover - 2 bolts ,, but tough to get at..drivers side .... Good luck ..
If this is a 2.8 V6 the thermostat is located on the front of the engine. Ask 'Where is the thermostat located on a 1995 Audi A6?' on this site and you'll find someone has done a great job of explaining how to find and replace the thermostat.
To change a thermostat on a 1994 Toyota Camry V6, drain the radiator partially. Remove the upper hose assembly, unbolt the thermostat, and put the new one in place. Refill the radiator completely.
at the bottom of the air filter housing.
unhook the top radiator hose from the engine side of the hose, that's where you'll find the thermostat.
On a 1994 Ford Aerostar : Follow the TOP radiator hose from the radiator It will connect to the engine cooling thermostat housing The thermostat is INSIDE the housing * on the 4.0L V6 engine the hose actually connects to a metal pipe which is part of the thermostat housing
The spring end faces towards the engine block and if the thermostat has a vent hole the hole is at the top of the thermostat
