Not sure specifically about the 1991 Honda, but it's typically the same on all cars. Follow your upper radiator hose to the engine, where it should join a half-sphere shaped housing, usually attached to the engine with two bolts. Remove this housing and the thermostat should be inside. Don't forget to replace the gasket!
