It's on the right side front and it is a pain. The best way is to get an extension at least 10 inches and get it from below, of course drain the radiator first and be sure to change the O ring to be sure that it doesn't leak because you don't want to be messing with it once you replace the thermostat and the car will be better if you put a 180 degree in instead of the factory 192-194 degree. Hope this helps.
