It is on the side of the motor.You have to remove the alternator to get to it.It is some work ,I paid 130. parts and labour to have someone else do it.

The thermostat is located where the hose leaves the engine to go to the top of the radiator. You unscrew the bolts holding the hose mounting to the engine. There you find the thermostat.

First, remove the thermostat housing. Then grab the thermostat by hand and remove it.
It is located in the fuel tank on the top. Unless there is a access panel somewhere inside the vehicle, you will have to remove the tank in order to get to the pump. Be sure to also replace the fuel filter.

The piston or spring on the thermostat could be stuck.
If you have to ask online, then step 1 is finding a qualified shop that can do it for you.
Follow the top radiator hose over to the engine and where it connects to the thermostat housing. There should be two bolts holding the housing to the motor. Remove the housing and replace the thermostat and gasket. The larger side of the thermo goes in the engine.
