Find it at the engine end of the upper rad hose. When replacing it make sure the spring goes toward the engine. Looking at the engine (1998 olds.. cutlass) while hood is up. on the right hand side. Follow the large radiator hose to the engine. The thermostat is located in the metal housing under the air intake. (attached to the air filter) Not a good spot. No easy access. YOu musst remove part of the air filter system to get to it!
