it should be located on the throttle body (where the rubber air duct attaches to) it will be located on the opposite side of the throttle linkage (where the cables attach to). inside the throttle body is a "butterfly" which allows air flow into the intake. the shaft that goes all the way through the throttle body turns inside the TPS. the further the shaft turns inside the sensor is calculated by terms of resistance, the PCM adjust fuel pressure and injector pulse accordingly.
the sensor itself will have a harness plugged into it, and will be bolted to the side the a couple of very small bolts.

The TBS or "throttle position" sensor is located near the throttle body on the linkage.
Throttle Position Sensor, or TPS is attached to the throttle body. it looks like a little black box with a plug and two small bolts.
