where is the idle control motor for a 1998 ford escort
my 1998 ford escort has had this problem for a couple days and I went to Shucks and borrowed their fail code sensor for free. when I hooked up the code sensor, it said that our shift solenoid was failing. So, your shift solenoid may have gone out if you have an automatic transmission.
What does the solenoid control?
The starter solenoid is on the starter. The transmission solenoids are in the solenoid pack on the front of the transmission.
On top of the transmission.
The solenoid pack is on the front of the transmission, just below the cooler hoses. The solenoid pack is on the front of the transmission, just below the cooler hoses.
It should.
No because they are different motors which means they are different transmissions.
