According to a Ford Ranger forum, if it's a 5 speed manual there isn't one! Haha I thought I was going crazy that I couldn't find it!
Or I've also heard in other cars there is a stick inside the cabin of the car.
But Ford rangers that are 5spd manuals don't have em!

You fill it through the dipstick tube. If it doesn't have a dipstick tube you have to take it to the dealer because it requires a special tool.
Looking from the front of the engine I believe it should be at the back of the engine by the firewall , just to the left of the engine for your automatic transmission dipstick
2003 Ford Explorer 4 door models do not have an automatic transmission dipstick , Ford has a way of checking from underneath the Explorer
