No, manual transmissions on most if not all cars do not have dipsticks. Check the side of the transmission. In most manual transmissions there are two drain type plugs that can be screwed out. The bottom plug drains all oil. The plug that is part way up the side of the transmission is the fill level plug. With the engine OFF! Pull the plug, put your finger in the hole and see if there is any oil below the level of the plug hole. Oil SHOULD come to the bottom of the hole. If you can't feel any oil with your finger add more.
If it is an A/T it is located rear of engine near firewall. If it is manual, there is no dipstick. The level is checked under the car on the upper side of the transmission where you will find a plug.
