That is correct! It does not have a filter!!!
The Kia sedona Does in fact have a transmission fluid filter. As i have one. it is hard to find as we are still looking for mine. but they wouldn't not have sold me one and the fluid together if there was not one that was to be changed. ours is a twist on. it looks like an oil filter...
Yes, the Kia sedona 2002 to 2003 do have 2 filters. One on the outside on top of the engine underneath the cover to the right. And one inside that one does not need to be changed. 2004 and up do not have 2 filters just one insde.
Where is the transmission filter located on a 2003 Kia Sedona
The 2003 Elantra does not have a transmission filter.
From my research, 2003 and before has a spin on filter under the hood and a non serviceable filter inside the transmission. 2004 and up, has just the internal filter. The internal filter requires transmission removal and disassembly to access.
The 2003 Kia Sedona has a 5-speed automatic.
The filter is inside the transmission and is not to be serviced. Just drain fluid and replace.
Remove the tranny pan
under the bonnet
The speed sensor is located on the right side facing the driver side. It is on the transmission under the air filter and air line that leads to the intake manifold. It is on the left side of the transmission. It is not on top of the transmission but on the left side of the transmission close to the firewall. It is best to raise the car and locate it from underneath.
Inside the pan on the bottom of the trans.
On top of the transmission under the air filter housing.
inside the tranny pan
